Rainbow Vacuum Hose Falling Off?
One question that we get quite a bit is “Why does my hose keep coming off of my Rainbow E series vacuum cleaner?” To answer this, here’s a video with a few helpful tips and tricks on how to ensure that the hose is connected correctly and how to keep it connected correctly while you’re using your vacuum!

Instructions
Remove the hose and take a look at the end that connects to the vacuum. You will see two metal prongs - if there is anything blocking the prongs, or if they’re bent, it will cause a bad connection and he vacuum light will probably turn on.
The two grey tabs you see on the hose actually secure it to the vacuum cleaner, so if either of the tabs are broken or damaged that could also cause a bad connection and cause the light to turn on as well.
When you plug in the hose, you’ll want to lift up the little flap and that opens the electrical port.
Insert the hose and firmly press it into place. You should see both grey tabs lock into place and you will probably hear it as well. You can try applying firm pressure to both sides alternately to make sure the latches engage.
Another thing to check are the two slots on the vacuum. If these are damaged or broken that could be part of the problem. If they are broken send us an email at service@greatvacs.com, including pictures if possible, and we can help you get it fixed!
