How to Attach A Tool Caddy to A Central Vacuum Wand
When you purchase a new Central Vacuum Tool Kit, the number of tools and attachments can be overwhelming. In this video Kyle demonstrates how to attach and use the 3-Peg Tool Caddy.
Important Safety Tips
- Always make sure your machine is unplugged and the power button is turned off, before servicing your vacuum.
- Always make sure your hands are dry and free from moisture before servicing your machine.
- Be sure to wear gloves when servicing your machine to prevent any cuts or scrapes.
- If you are uncomfortable working on your machine, please don’t hesitate to contact us at service@greatvacs.com and we can help you through the process or you can send it into us to fix it for you.
Instructions
This process work for either the GV or Prolux central hose kit. We will start the process by demonstrating it on the wand. You’ll notice two things: your wand has a button lock and none of your tools have a hole to accept this button lock. It’s okay, because the tools are friction fit and will still fit on the end of the wand. All you need to do is slide the tool on while pushing down the button lock.
The hose works the same way – just slide the tool on the end while pushing down the button lock and friction will keep it in place.
To attach the tool caddy to the extendable wand start by extended it out.
Take the tool caddy and firmly push it onto the wand. You’re done!
