Fastest Easiest Vacuum on Carpet Tile Or Hardwood? Backpack VS Upright Test

In this video, Dustin goes over the easiest and quickest vacuum to clean your home! He does a test to see if a standard upright or the GV 8 qt. backpack vacuum comes out on top.

If you take a look under the vacuums, you’ll notice that the upright’s suction tube is on one side. That means you’ll get a lot of cleaning power on that side, but you might have stuff left behind at the other. If you vacuum tile, you will probably need the floor tool.

The GV vacuum cleaner has the suction tube in the middle, which causes uniform suction all the way across. That means you can use the same head on all different floor types – carpet, hardwood, tile, etc.

Test time! Which vacuum can clean the fastest? The average home isn’t JUST wall-to-wall carpet. There is tile, wood, carpet, and, of course, lots of furniture! You have to be able to reach under beds and couches as well.

The upright vacuum took 2 minutes and 55 seconds.

The GV Backpack vacuum took 1 minute and 35 seconds!

When vacuuming at the same speed, the GV Backpack vacuum got the job done 54% faster. One big reason is that you don't need to constantly change tools depending on the job. The backpack vacuum was also lighter and easier to use around furniture and other objects.

New Comfort 3500 Series 6 Stage Air Purifier

The New Comfort 3500 Air Purifier comes with 6 stages of purification.

It comes in real cherry wood, black acrylic, and clear acrylic.

It is designed to effectively remove dust, allergens, pet dander, bacteria, viruses, smoke, and powerful odors.

The New Comfort’s specialized fan grid and powerful fan give it 20% more power than other brands.

First, it cleans by pulling air through its powerful HEPA filter. This effectively removes dust, allergens, pet dander, and more!

Next, the air passes through the carbon filter. Odors and gasses are removed as they pass through this filter. The carbon particles have millions of pores, which absorb the noxious odors and gases.

Next, the air passes through the photocatalytic TIO2 filter and by the powerful UV bulb. When used together, they are designed to remove viruses, bacteria, and mold.

The air then passes by the dual point negative ion generators, which are designed to clean the air of dust, allergens, and more.

As an optional feature, the user may engage the ozone cleaning ability. Ozone is a very effective way to remove smoke, mold, and other powerful odors. The oxygen in the air is converted to ozone by electric discharge.

The New Comfort 3500 Air Purifier is designed to keep your home’s air clean and fresh, with its six stages of purification and 3 year factory warranty!

How To Replace A Rainbow Vacuum Latch

A common problem with Rainbow vacuums is the water bowl latch breaking. Today, Andrew shows you how to replace one!

Important Safety Tips

  • Always make sure your machine is unplugged and the power button is turned off, before servicing your vacuum.
  • Always make sure your hands are dry and free from moisture before servicing your machine.
  • Be sure to wear gloves when servicing your machine to prevent any cuts or scrapes.
  • If you are uncomfortable working on your vacuum, please don’t hesitate to contact us at service@greatvacs.com and we can help you through the process or you can send it into us to fix it for you.

Tools

  • Hammer
  • Small Phillips head screwdriver
  • Flat head screwdriver

Instructions

Start by placing your small Phillips head screwdriver at the end of the brass pin and hit the end with your hammer.

You can pull the pin out the rest of the way by hand and this allows the latch to detach from the vacuum.

To attach your new latch, make sure you have the spring shown above.

Set the spring inside the latch.

Now slide the pin into the latch so that the spring is over the end as shown.

Align the latch on the vacuum and slide the pin through the rest of the way, making sure to get it through the other side of the spring.

Take your flat head screwdriver and firmly press on the pin to push it all the way into the latch.

This is what the latch and spring should look like when you’re finished.
