3 steps to DOUBLE your Kirby Vacuums deep cleaning power
STEP 1: Adjust your brush roll
* Adjust to 2 or 3 if you want to work closer to the floor
* Adjust to 1 if you want to work further away from the floor
* Adjust to 2 or 3 if you want to work closer to the floor

How to Adjust Your Brush Roll Settings
Take off the power head and spinning till the red arrows align and detached it from the vacuum.
Hold the 2 tabs apart
Spin the knob back the other way to release the belt
Grab it by the belt so the brush will come out.
When the brush is detached from the case you can now adjust brush roll from 1 to 3 settings.
STEP 2: Change Bags when 1/2 Full
Improving your CFM can significantly improve your deep cleaning. Changing the bags before they are 1/2 full can significantly improve your CFM and deep cleaning power of your Kirby Vacuum.
STEP 3: Change Your Belt
When the belt starts to stretch and it can slip out of the brush roll. It is recommended to check your belts even if it seems to be still working good. If you see that its a bit stretch out its time to change your belt so that you can get more deep cleaning power.
Make sure to use the genuine Kirby belt as this one has the patented grip on the inside the helps to grip better on your brush roll.
