This harness could use some upgrades to make it better suited for the wear and tear one would expect of a vacuum that is marketed as "commercial" grade.
I love it! Took me a few minutes to get the bag out of the machine. And the red light did not come on as instructed. It was quite full when I emptied it.
Purchase a Kirby back in 2018, the vacuum cleaner work every bit of 6 months it supposed came with lifetime warranty however the warranty company went out of business by the way after i begged my finance not to make the purchase of $2,400 for vacuum cleaner in the first place over priced for this out of date vacuum cleaner that you have to push by hand that doesn’t whole value for the price now the company is hard up for the money they taking us court “trial” to be exact however they didn’t mention anything about fixing the vacuum cleaner please don’t purchase a Kirby not worth it. Insane
This is the second one we bought on Amazon for two different residences. The first time I used it the back door that holds the HEPA filter inside the canister vacuum blows off repeatedly. Desperate to clean the carpet we taped it closed, trying two different kinds of tape. Sounds crazy, right?
That didn’t work either, so after fussing with it a lot, we got the door to stay shut. That worked for a few times. Then it happened again! Very frustrating. Cannot use it as is.
And of course the 61 day warranty was passed by a few weeks when it happened again. Got busy with life and illness in the family, and now it’s May 26th nearly 3 months since purchase.
Bought on March 1, 2025, it should not do this. It seems defective and we want a full refund and just wrote the manufacturer Prolux in Utah. Will they honor their commitment to 10”% satisfaction? If that means returning and having a new vacuum shipped out, that won’t be good enough. Only a full refund will work after this terrible experience.
I love the new power head so I can clean my carpets more effectively than with the non motorized heads. However, on the new pole, there seems to be a piece broken off that titrates the suction. All of the components still work but I can tell that the smaller attachments work better when I plug the hole with my finger. Have been meaning to call to see what they can do to help but this review request came in before I found time. Maybe you can help from here?
