It is very common to see a Tristar Vacuum Cleaners (the old Tristar vacuums were called Compact)  running perfect after 25 plus years.   Made in the US they are dependable and very powerful.   Tristar vacuums are known for their high and powerful air floor and as a result are great deep cleaner.   They also work really good for pet hair pickup.   They are designed that as the bag fills up with dirt that the power is not reduced.    The newer models of Tristar are very lightweight and have HEPA Filtration and they are all around a very good vacuum.
