I bought into their story and ordered a refurbished cannister for my Rainbow for $398.
I received it, attempted to use it and it did not operate as or should. When the on switch is e gaged the vacuum did not come on. I had to jiggle and push down on the unit to get it to engage. Also, water leaked out of the bottom of the unit when I lifted it off the base.
I immediately turned it off abd sent an email to Gresyltvacs (12/29/23) . I had to continually send emails asking for a follow up. I attempted to call abd phone number on their site no longer works. It took TWO weeks for them to respond to my request for a phone number; their response was they are understaffed and don't have time to talk on the phone. They finally asked me if I was willing to ship the unit back for repairs (Jan 10th). I immediately responded that I wished to ship back the DEFECTIVE unit wfmhich I could not use for a total refund. I have emailed them many, many times since then and when they finally responded, they stated that I had not responded to their January 10th email. I responded that I had and was extremely unhappy about the way I've been treated. Their tactics are obvious... stall until the 60 day warranty expires. I ordered this unit on Dec 23 and have been trying to return it since December 29th!!
They are perfect. I received two in my package and one of them was smashed really bad . There was a little dent in one of the boxes so I opened it and it was totally smashed inside. I tried to get a number to call them but no one answered. I guess they only do email.that is very frustrating to me. I like to talk to the person. But when I emailed them I received another one just two days later.
