A zippbrush is an attachment for a Kirby vacuum that is very useful for a variety of tasks. This is one of the most popular and requested attachments for any model. Most people use this for deep spring-cleaning and regular weekly cleanings in their homes.

Some of the most common items to clean with a zippbrush include carpeted stairs. Dust and dirt tend to get caught in the divide between stairs and a regular vacuum roller will not fit in that area. Also, upholstery cushions can be easily cleaned with the attachment. Hair, pet dander and crumbs caught in folds can be quickly removed, prolonging the appearance and life of the sofa or couch.

Attaching the zippbrush is easy. Simply turn off the unit and unplug it before you attach or unattach anything. Next, take off the power nozzle and replace it with the brush attachment, fitting the hooks over the snug bar area.

Depending on what you are cleaning, you will also attach a tube to allow for extension. More than one extension bar made be added if you are cleaning a tall curtain or if you are cleaning in the back area of a living room under couch cushions.
