Filter Queen Vacuum Models

Here at Great Vacs we are frequently asked about the age and model sequence of Filter Queen vacuums. This page is just designed to cover model sequense and some of the differences we have personally seen. This is not a model specifics page. I am sorry this page is not more specific. There really is not much information on the older model Filter Queens so I was not able to enter any more information than contained. Because of the lack of information available, I am providing information on the features I have noticed in all the different models of Filter Queen. I have probably not included all the feature changes. This is not a technical page about Filter Queen vacuums. This page does not contain all the differences and changes between models. There are Special Edition models that fit in between the different models. For example, there is a 65th Edition, 70th Edition, and 75th Edition. To get that information you will need to contact Health Mor (Filter Queen).

We have tried to make this as accurate as possible but do not guarantee it to be 100% accurate. I have added the color of the Filter Queen in the title but this is just for identification purposes only. It is not in the official title or name of the vacuum. It is not from Filter Queen but is just to help identify the vacuum (since there are several models called "Filter Queen Majestic"). About the Filter Queen Vacuum. Filter Queen is one of the highest quality canister vacuums made in our opinion. They have been making them for a long time. To sum up a Filter Queen vacuum, I would three words - filtration, reliability, and power. Their filtration always seems to be way ahead of the competition. Doctors even prescribe Filter Queen vacuums to patients with bad allergies. Another nice thing that I like about Filter Queen vacuums is they seem to be so quiet.

Filter Queen Vacuum Filter Queen Vacuum- Brown. This is the work horse of Filter Queens. It was years ahead of the competition with filtration. It has a long curved main wand and the hose is not the pump style.
Filter Queen Majestic Vacuum Filter Queen Majestic Vacuum- Silver. With this model the biggest changes I noticed were the name Majestic was put on the vacuum and they changed the color. It was a great model and still had the non-pump style hose with the longer wand.
Filter Queen Triple Crown Vacuum Filter Queen Triple Crown Vacuum- Red. They made some good feature changes with this model. They shortened the main wand and added the pump-style hose. They also added an on/off switch to the hose for the powerhead. They changed the color and with this model there were two styles of powerhead, black and chrome.
Filter Queen Majestic Vacuum Filter Queen Majestic Vacuum - Green. This model always looked sharp to me. They changed the color and all the powerheads were black. The tools were black on this model as well. They made a Defender (see below) and a powered upholstery tool for this model as well.
Filter Queen 360 Vacuum Filter Queen Majestic - Blue. They made some nice changes on this model. They changed the powerhead, hose, main wand, and tools. The biggest change they made is they are larger for more airflow and power. It seemed to me that this model had a little better performance than the previous models.

As of the writing of this document the current model is the Filter Queen 360 Vacuum. From what I could see the only main differences were a decal change. It is still blue in color and besides the new decal looks just like the above pictured Blue Filter Queen.
Defender. The Defender is a home air-purifying system. It is awesome! It is quieter than a vacuum and is great for allergy sufferers. There were several different models made as well.
As far as recomendations, I would say that age is not a big factor because of how long they last. I would go for model features, looks and what you can fit in your budget. I personally like the Filter Queen Triple Crown or newer models. If you still have any questions you may email us at great_vacs@yahoo.com or view our Filter Queens on our website.
