Carpet Shampooer
Every household needs a good Shampooer. If you invest in a good Shampooer you can literally save thousands of dollars in the life of the Shampooer. There are basically 2 kinds of Shampooers.

Dry Formula – These can use some water and a powerful scrub brush and they shampoo your carpets. Then once the carpet is dry (very quickly because little water is used if any) you simply vacuum the carpet. Your carpet smells fresh and clean. Stains don’t seem to come back as easily with these carpet shampooers.

Extraction Type – These are the most commonly used carpet shampooers. The principle behind them is they inject water and shampoo solution into your carpet. Then they are scrubbed with a powerful scrub brush and then you suck the dirty water back out of your carpet. Although not as good for your carpet as the Dry Formula (gets your carpet wetter) they seem to do a better job on bad stains. Also these carpet shampooers seem to do a better job on upholstery like couches and cars.
A lot of families (especially those with young children) will often have two. One for carpet and one for quick spills. They make ones for quick spills that are small and easy to use. They are designed to use quickly and then put away.
